I am a retired Ranger/Green Beret new to the area and I am looking for points of contact (POCs) so I can hunt on private land in Northern Virginia...any recommendations?

1st off, thanks for your service.

Good Luck! haha. I have been in the area for a few years now and have had bad luck trying to find property. I signed up for Suburban Whitetail Management this year. www.deerdamage.org I just got approved. This might be an option for you. Other than that, I have not had much luck knocking on doors. For some reason this area is hard to come by for getting permission to hunt on private land. I hope this helps some.

Find a hunting club (nsa-inc.com) or join a group that hunts the the park lands in Fairfax County. I've done both and it's about the only options in NOVA. You could also hunt Quantico or Fort Belvoir.
