Default Sons first deer.

My son shot his first deer ever, and it was with a bow. This was his first year he hunted with a bow and only his 3rd sit. He made a good shot at 30 yards, deer ran 80 yards and we heard him crash. I think he is hooked. He was a very happy 13yr old. I know it was one of the best times I've had in the woods.

That's awesome. Hope enjoyed the hunt. Was it in a stand or was it spot and stock?

It was in a 2 man ladder stand that is set up over a stand of oaks. We have a good acorn crop this year. It was fun.
