Question Opening day spot?!

Curious to see where everyone will be hunting come opening day? Beans, corn, foodplot, acorns, big timber?! I think I will be set up on a white oak ridge, usually the first week our deer in central Illinois are hitting them hard but with the drought this year that might not be the case. So if the wind is right im going to take a gamble and set up on a white oak ridge leading to corn. What about everyone else?!

I'll be posted up next to one of a few trails leading into corn and bean fields, in between a bedding area/water source.

I'm still-hunting with a recurve for the beginning of the season, so my tactics will be very different this year.

Four corners. Corner of beans, timber, corn, and alfalfa all meet in the spot

My urban spot right outside the city. Its small but I can't make it to where I normally hunt until the rut. I do have a couple 130ish bucks running around out there.

In a pine thicket about 250 yards off a bean field near a well known bedding area

On public land so hopefully one of my two spots set. One on the creek ridge the deer take to get to bedding areas the other in another timber spot with alot of oaks and deer passing on way out of creek bottom to food plot.

Other then that anywhere another hunter isnt.

Our property is big woods, overgrown clear cuts and hemlock swamp. No agriculture. No mature oaks either. Our mast trees are beech and cherry.

I'll be in a small clearing in the middle of overgrown clear cut.

I'll be about 5 yards in some timber on the edge of a bean field! It's like 15 days until opening day and I already know where I'm going! LOL!
