Compound Bow Question/ New here
Hello to everyone,
I'm an avid hunter and fisherman that is new to bow hunting. I just purchased a used PSE Nova Compound bow. The draw length is 29, which is good for, however it is set at 70lbs. For the life of me I can not pull this back. I went to Academy Sports and the guy lowered it to 65ish. He said that is the lowest it would go. At 65lbs I can pull it back with my hands, but when I use the trigger release...I cant pull it back. Am I just out of luck if this is the lowest it will go? Thanks all and happy hunting! -Mitch |
Man I always thought it was easier with a release. I'm not sure about the draw weight though. Never shot a PSE. I'm sure some one will get to you

I had this exact same bow. it was my very first compound. unless you have some type that im not familiar with, you can adjust 60-70 pounds.
