Broad heads

Is it okay to shoot broad heads into a block target, and then use the same broad heads to hunt with? Just wondering if the target will dull the blades. Ill be shooting Muzzy MX-3's and they didnt come with a practice head.

Also, if anyone has used the MX-3s let me know what ya think of em!

Thanks

Yes its OK. But you will have to sharpen them. You can buy a tungsten "V" notch type sharpener to run over the blades or you can file them. A bastard file will give you a nice edge and make your BHs plenty sharp for slicing through a deer. You should be sharpening even new broadheads anyway. And why not buy another pack and use them for hunting?
