Here is some great information that shows just how much hunters help out our communities, states, and country. I would like to see the number on how much animal rights/anti hunting group put back. Wish this information could get out to everyone in this country. Maybe it would help to change some peoples view on hunting.

I saw this on FB and loved it. Thanks for sharing! I was excited to see that Texas was the #1 resident hunting state. unfortunately I wasnt surprised to see we didnt make the top 10 for non-resident hunting...so much private land :(

Great stats, non-hunters don't realize the inpact that hunting has on the economy.

Those democrats will find some way to reduce that situation.

Many of the Dems do realize the impact of the Hunting public on our economy. They want it diminished and then they can demand that money go to other purposes, that they desire.

They don't have to work to diminish it... We do it to ourselves every day. Look at the average age of those buying hunting permits and stamps, it goes up.... Like its about 42 yrs old right now...
Every year we lose more and more cause our kids do less and less. Yes, there are some parents out there gettin their kids outdoors and all but the effort is lost due to a lack in popularity.
More work needs to be done to get kids outside, it needs to be driven towards kids too... Less trophy crap and more outdoors stuff... More fun= more kids = more hunters for the future... as it stands right now, we are looking at being out numbered severly in the quite near future.

Trust me, these policy-makers (aka Dems) know all too well what level of revenue the hunting and shooting sports industries generate. They know it because they invest in these companies in a hypocritical pursuit of profit, or they know it because they keep a watchful eye on "the other guys" in an effort to generate smearing mis-information campaigns. And they know it because they have ran the numbers on how much tax revenue could be raised by proposing the imposition of irrelevant and unwarranted taxes upon law-abiding ammunition, firearms, and sporting-goods consumers, and they've projected how much tax increase it would take to discourage consumers from buying them altogether, resulting in a "ban without a ban".

The people that DO need to know about this are the local consumer boards and governing bodies. These are the people that need to know how much revenue hunting sportsmen generate in their areas, and the level of the constituency base that supports the lifestyle.
