Fairly nervous, although the mature deer seem to lean toward neurotic.

Fairly nervous,Lots of pressure in my area from hunters. I was putting finishing touches to one of my ground blinds and seen 5 people in 2 hours just scouting around.they did chase 3 deer my way at 101 MPH run.

Mine are fairly nervous. They down' t get much hunting pressure on my land but they do from other landowners around me. Plus most of the ground around me is farm ground so the farmers are always out there doing something. As far as the big bucks go, I don' t know. Haven' t seen them! :D

Most areas I would say nervous but not overly so. But recently received access to a couple large tracts that get little pressure from rifle hunters and none from archers. Had several good bucks out spottin and the kids were makin a fuss and they kept comin. Ended up under 20 yds from us. Have had them stand and watch us when scouting and not spook. I do know however that this may change when we start huntin em.We are the only archers w/ access!!!!!

Bucks or Does, under two years,I would classify them as dumb as a piece of firewood.21/2-3years,you got to be on your toes to hunt them.4 plus years, they did' nt get that old by being stupid, and thats what makes it interesting. Here in MD,we have a major problem with too many deer,so there is alot of " firewood" to go around...Bob

Fairly nervous until rifle season which pushes them over the edge to neurotic.

Mine don' t even rate. I would have to say BRAIN DEAD!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, these deer don' t really care much about anything. These deer see humans every single day and are so stupid that they just don' t care about humans. Heck, my best hunting spot is located between an airport, housing development, and a maxium security prison. This area is all " broken wood lots" which means that there are just patches of woods that are broken off from each other either by fields or houses, ect... These deer just don' t care. Scent is probablly the least of my concerns when I go into the woods. Noise doesn' t bother them either.

On the other hand, one area I hunt the deer are so spooky that it isn' t funny. Heck, young deer won' t even start moving out of bedding areas till right at dark.
