First Blood.........For the wife!!
 

opening day of bow season,and wouldn' t you know I couldn' t go.had to work and am recoverning from surgery..

that didn' t stop the wife from going.she had 7 does and a small buck around her stand for about 2 hrs.
yesterday afternoon I took her to another spot she hunts.at 6:30 she had two bucks come in to her.she took a shot at 15 yards and put it in the boiler room and he went about 100 yards.
a real nice spike.he first buck with the bow.she has taken one doe and 3 gobblers with it,but no bucks till now.

she could hardly get in the truck last evening,(her head was so big) LOL.she said she had always wanted to take one on opening day before me.

Congrats to your wife. Personally I get just as excited when someone that I hunt with is successful, as I do when I' m successful. If I were you, i definatly would score this season a successful one even if you don' t tag out.
