Whats the best time too get into my stand after 2:00pm?
 

I work until 2:00 in the afternoon. What time should I go get into my blind or stand? Closer too sunset or anytime after 2:00? I was thinking 2:00 might be too early but maybe not.

I usually like to get to mine2-3 hours before sunset, during the rut any time is good.

I go at 2:00. I have killed a lot of deer around 3:00 - 3:30.

I' d suggest getting in your stand as soon as you can,
that way things will have a chance to ' quiet down'
around your stand. Besides, deer could be moving
at any time throughout the day. My buddy and
I were hanging stands the other day with the wind
howling and the temperature in the high 80' s when
we watched a huge bodied buck, probably 150-160" ,
move through a soybean field at 1:30 in the after-
noon;).
