Anybody ever worry about this?
Whenever I put on my muzzy broadheads i use that little wrench but I also use a broadhead wrench on the blade part of it. I always worry about this dulling/chipping/bending the blade. I don' t like reef on it but I make sure it is tight and it makes clicking noises when it gets tight. Do you guys ever think this hurts it?

RE: Anybody ever worry about this?
Little Nuge15...no, I don' t think your harming the broadhead in any way unless you really reef on it as you say you don' t....I' ve used Muzzy' s for more than 10 years and have never harmed one installing them on my arrows.

Using the wrench and risking a nick in the blades (which is unlikely) is far preferable to not using the wrench and risking a trip to the emergency room to get your fingers stitched up.
I' m on your side about the mechanicals. After experimenting with the things, I decided I can live without them too. |
RE: Anybody ever worry about this?
Taz I was seriously looking at the spitfires for some time but I just couldn' t convince my self that if i got a shoulder shot that the mechanical would penetrate. Any input on that factor?
