Need advice on quieting MZE
What are you zero effect shooters using to make the arrow slide quietly on the hook? I have read about the teflon tape but is there anything that will last?
Thanks beforehand.

Yep,
good ol' Moleskin.........cut a tapered strip the length of the hook arm.
Then attach it top side first, and where the groove of the arm is take a razor knife and cut a slit and push the 2 edges into the groove itself. This will give you a whisper quiet rest and you' ll still have a good defined groove for the arrow to sit in.
Works like a charm!

when the shop put mine on they covered the hook in the mole skin... but then they also put it on the shelf of the rest... but heres the kicker... they built the shelf up in the front with 2 pieces of carbon arrow about half an inch long and glued this down to make an arrow holder before they covered it in the mole skin. it will hold the arrow on there even if the bow is turned upside down.. just a little something to think about.
good luck
