While I was trailing a doe I shot on sunday I came upon this guy laying in a thicket about 20 yards from a pond.

yes I did. I actually hit a branch on the shot and it hit her low just behind the ribs. We gave her 4 hours and started tracking. We blood trailed her 3/4 mile and found her laying on a hill side. I had to finish her off. It's one of those things where I felt real bad about the shot and I wasn't happy at all with the way it had to end. But I know those things happen with bow hunting.but at the same time I would have never found this rack if she only went a 100 yards or something.

Awesome find bud. Almost as good a find as the doe herself. Only because you cant eat antler. 8) Have you put a tape on him yet? Im curious as to what he scores.
