Default How far do you shoot?

So what's the longest shot you will take for a deer. Pretty new to bow hunting and my comfort zone ends at about 30-35 yards. Just wondering if that's the norm?

Majority of my practise shots are from 10 - 40 yards elevated. I do spend time shooting out to 50 yards just so those 40 yards shots seem easier. So I would say a 40 yard shot would be in my comfort zone. I do however like to take a few shots out to 75 yards just to help with concentration and form. It would have to be under a perfect scenrio to take a shot out any further than 40 yards for me......I would have to think long and hard about it for the deers sake.

I have my pins 25, 35 and 45. I used to practice with an elevated 45 pin for 55 yard shots but have not done that the last 2 years. I feel fine with a 45 yard shot but have not taken one that long on an actual deer.

Pretty much same as those above. I practice at 40 99% of the time, just to make those 20 & 30yd shots seem like chip shots. I do shoot a 50yd pin alot just for S&G's!!!!! We have shot at 100yds with tracer nocks like on TV into a big round hay bale but got too expensive for they don't stop on top all the time!!!!!

I practice out to 80 yds and have killed elk at 52yds. I wouldn't hesitate to take a 60yd shot if needed.
