125g Thunderheads, 3 blade with a Browning Boss crossbow.

Over the last 6 years I' ve downed 10 deer with these, most dropping within 15 yards...the longest run was 30 yards.

Wasp Hammer SST 125gr
40" Moose 17 feet away
Complete passthrough behind front shoulder glanced a rib on way it and hit rib on way out. Ran only 25 yards.

Bad note: 2 of the blades were curled after they hit rib on way out but still did GOOD job.

Thunderhead 125gr
6X6 Bull Elk
33 yards.
Complete pass through upper back after a deflection from and unseen branch, second shot complete pass through rib cage/lung.
Elk did not realize it was even hit on first shot and neither did I. Turn and offered second shot.

Arrows recovered and broadheads in excellent condition. Good to go agian

Two whitetails on Saturday morning, October 4th. Both taken with Zwickey Delta 4-blade heads. Bloodtrails were profuse.

Have been a member for some time, but had to create a new user ID and password. Couldn' t remember it from last year. Anyway, just started using the G5 Montec' s this year. Took a real nice 7 point buck that went through one side and shattered the opposite shoulder. It didn' t go clean through but broke the shoulder up real bad (190 lb. deer). Deer went about 50 yards.

Shot a smaller 13 point, clean pass through and arrow stuck about 5 inches deep into the dirt. Double lung shot, deer went about 30 yards.
