Need some help choosing broadheads to use this season. Went with the rage last year, but the stories i hear about them, opening to early/not opening/breaking when they hit a rib/etc., dont know whether or not to trust them or not. Thinking about going muzzys, but not sure.

To help with your Rage Broadheads, get your hands on some of those rubber bands used on braces from your dentist. Slip them on the head just in front of the wing blades, at the smallest part in the middle. This will prevent any premature opening and will not affect the flight nor will it affect the blade when it opens up on impact. No worries. They are an awesome blade, myself, I'm using a Shwacker head this year.

Muzzy's and Thunderheads have been around for a long time, and for good reason. Can't go wrong with either.

Yep, they do work.

They don't push all the money into marketing as other heads do so most people just don't think about them.

I don't like rubberbands so I shoot Grim Reapers for mechanical, and slick tricks for my fixed head. Still got some 3 blade muzzys in the archery box that also come out to play.. All fly great and kill the same if you hit the vitals

Ive shot muzzy 3-blade 100 grain since i started bowhunting. They are cheap, easy, and they simply work. I did try the rage 2-blade when they first came out and was not impressed with the results so i went back to muzzy.

the new rage has a plastic shock collar to hold the blades in place, i have not had any trouble with them, its my favorite broadhead by a mile
