We have also had a 194" and 225" hit the ground so far here in Wisconsin. The mild winter looks to have aided in the growth of some mega giants.

It's been updated with some more details, including the hunter's name. My guess is if they green scored it at 244, it won't take the No. 1 spot after the drying period, since it's only got 2/8" to lose before it's No. 2, but still an incredible buck nonetheless. I just saw today that someone shot a potential NT state record in MN as well. We should cherish the bountiful hunt this year, the drought this summer might have the exact opposite effect of the mild winter we had.
