RE: i will be shooting good groups but something is wrong
If all of your fliers are low you may have an inconsistant anchor point also.
Another good homemade spin checker is a board with four nails in it. Just criss-cross two nails at each end of the board. |
RE: i will be shooting good groups but something is wrong
But of course if you have fletching on your arrow you cant roll them across a table to check the nock end of the arrow;)

LEAVE THE END BARELY HANGING OFF THE END OF THE TABLE. THE VANES WON' T TOUCH THE TABLE.

Sometimes with the WB rest, if you' ve trimmed it & shoot without a loop, the arrow sometimes can be forced down into the bristles when drawing back. I' ve seen quite a few threads on this recently, & unfortunately experienced it myself.

i test mine by puting the tip on my finger and slowly sping it
just dont try it with broad heads;) |
RE: i will be shooting good groups but something is wrong
Just take them and spin them like a top on a hard, flat surface. Like a glass table top, etc. Once you figure out how to get them to spin...you' ll be able to see if there is any wobble. Since you say you are shooting good groups, with some occasional fliers...I would suspect form or arrows as well...like others suggested.
