I have the Viper and is easy to use. Packs up flat. It just uses a strap to hold the two halves together when packed up. Just make sure to cinch down real tight to keep the halves from banging togehter when hiking in/out.

I'm a big Lone Wolf fan myself. The sit and climb is the real deal, I wouldn't hunt with anything else. Easy to pack/carry, light weight, simple to use, super quiet, and very stable/secure. There's the best, and there's all the rest.

Id go with the new summit specialist sd, check it out. I had a summit viper for four years, got a lone wolf sit and climb II last spring and sold it by this spring. Loved alot of features but couldnt get over the flimbsy cables i guess you would call them. I climb alot of rough barked trees and they seemed to catch the bark and you couldnt just pull through like a metal cable because theyd just bend. I also thought the way you position your feet wedged in between the bars was an uncomfortable climb. Just my opinion though, i really thing the specialist is a game changer from summit; 14lbs, dead metal, easiest cable and foothold system around and did i mention they only run about $320. Good luck in your decision!
