thats fine, just title it.."maybe unethical for some viewers" and "you must be over 18 to watch this"...that way people know they might not want their kids watching it. this is a family forum?

Nice deer, Congrats on the food you've put on your table for your family.

However, I agree with everyone here when saying that's an unethical shot.

Their point wasn't that "all deer must die with a smile on their face". Their point was those type of actions in the woods statistically lead to catastrophic scenario in which you wound an animal that makes it irretrievable. Furthermore you put this on the world wide web, many hunters might find this type of shot on the run as ok, many might not(as you've overwhelmingly saw here), but its really not what hunters think as much as people in general.

I'm all for making hunting videos, as long as they are done in accordance with strict ethics, and the ability to hold these animals sacred as well as the method for taking their lives sacred.

Shooting a deer on the run (A dangerous shot that an experienced hunter would never take)then exclaiming "**** Yeah" isn't the response or prior actions that the general non-hunting public might see as ethical.

That's why your overwhelming response was, "Gee man way to make us look bad."

Thank you katani. I have been making hunting videos for a while now and nothing puts a bigger smile on my face than seeing a kid take an animal on film. I just know if i put something like that out for people to see, our business would be crushed. Its great seeing father and son bonding like that. It was just unethical and not to mention dangerous

But you see, I dont make videos for a living. I layed it out there like it is in the real world. I dont have to be politically correct, and in my opinion, that was an ethical shot.
Maybe you will like this video better? Dont worry, its not gross.

I sure hope you aren't anywhere near LaCrosse County, because I certainly would not want to share the woods or even area with guys that would hunt like that!

Yup, its in the freezer now. How many of you go after a gutshot deer within the hour? I do, with a couple friends, and a plan. I just push em to 2 more shooters and finish em off. Like I said, that deer isnt going anywhere, and more could be on the way, Im in this for the numbers. Filling the freezer isnt pretty no matter what you fill it with. I've worked in slaughter houses, and we practicly skinned those aniimals alive. You ever watched a pack of wolves kill something? Thats not pretty either. Its real world where I hunt.
