I bought one last year and they really do work, while using it i have never seen one mosquito. The only regret i have is that I didnt buy one sooner. As far as the scent I havent noticed any difference when using it compared to when I didnt.

I would use them for fishing but not for bowhunting you might see a few small bucks and doe but I dought you would see any mature bucks, this is my personal opinion though.

If you're worried about the scent, they make "Fresh Earth" pads for them.
I've never tried those, I just use the regular ones while fishing.
And yes they work.

I have been using them for years. If they bother the deer I've never seen evidence of it. And they absolutely work on mosquitos. A must have for hunters whose season comes in when the weather is still warm enough for mosquitos. Hell, I wish I owned stock in the company. LOL!
