200+ night time deer picks but only 3 daytime buck pics. HELP!!!!!

I’ve had my game camera out in the woods for over 2 years and I only have 3 daytime pictures of bucks. My buddy just got a camera and he gets more than that in every roll of film!!! Which one is closer to normal my 2 years with 3 pics or his 1 week 3 pics?

What can be done to make them move more during the day? We both have our cameras over salt licks?

Here' s the latest daytime pic:

Easy, move your game camera:D. Really, I would move the camera somewhere between feeding areas and bedding areas. In my experiance salt licks are like scrapes, visited mostly during the night.

Is that a field in the backround??

I agree, move the camera into the woods, or closer to a bachelor herd.

Find the deer - then set up

Don' t set up and hope the deer find you (or the camera)

BTW - nice buck:D:D

I would say that that isn' t normal.

I have set up my Stealth cams and have gotten alot of pics of bucks in the day. More at night, but, it isn' t as bad as you at all.

I had corn thrown out right at the end of a trail where it leads into a corn field. This isn' t even close to being in the middle of the bedding and feeding area.

Is this area highly pressured? It doesn' t even have to be from hunters, if there are alot of humans near there during the day, then the deer could be feeding at night! If that isn' t the case, I would say that you put the camera back in the middle of the woods and set up your salt licks there. Right now it looks like it is in a pretty open area.

I have to agree. It sounds to me that you should move the camera. You know that bucks move through there at night, now find were they move during the day.

I would relocate your cam, sounds like your not between the bedding area
and the feeding area.

Everyone says relocate, they' re right. Alot of people get hung up on placing their cameras just on something (ex mineral lick, bait, food plot) Most of my most interesting photos are just shooting on a single deer trail in obscure places. I get more buck photos in those type of places. When on mineral licks of food plots my buck pictures are mostly at night and alot more does.

Good Luck!
