Fellas..would like to get a few ideas/opinons or advice on stand placements on a properity i got permission on. Im not used to hunting flat farm land/ river bottom type areas. i hunt deep hills and ridges..anyways take a look at the aerial photo and let me know what yall think..thanks

Properity is outlined in red
River is the blue
brown is a powerline that runs through the area

how big of a river are we talking?? big enough that deer would rather go around it than through it? if its a deep river there may be some good travel right where the river meets up with that powerline. Obviosly i could be totallyoff but that river may be funneling them to cross that powerline right there to head toward the big field to feed (if they are even using that field) with no knowledge of the area its hard to tell. Id think its worth a look though.

I agree, that pinch point the river makes by the power line clearing will have alot of traffic. Those inside corners to the fields look good also. I would definantly hang a stand at that pinch point.

my thoughts exactly

that is a good pinch point, but i would also look for trails coming from what looks like a field just out of the property on the top left to the powerline, maybe this way you could set up for multiple winds. It is hard without seeing the property but if that is some sort of crop field it could pay off.

i would start where the road and the river meet!! nothing beats hard scouting though (power line not road)
