3-d target and carbons
Does any one have any suggestions? I shoot a Mathews LX with carbons and I just bought a new Makenzie 3-D deer. The problem being, I have to lay the deer down and stand on it to get my arrows out. Help please!

Go to the Bowhunting Gear Review Forum and check out the thread title something like " 3D + Carbon = Stuck Arrow"

RE: 3-d target and carbons
Rub the 1st 6" of the arrow shaft with soap or get some easy pull points

There is a product called " Woodys Arrow Lube" on the market. You can get it at most Archery shops,or you can order it from Lancaster Archery. Its the best stuff I have found, comes with its own applicator.Mine has lasted all year, including over 30 3-D shoots. It sales for around $12-$15.;)

RE: 3-d target and carbons
I posted the question 3D + Carbon equall' s stuck arrow and I can tell you that the Ivory soap trick works very well. The only problem you have to rub it on every other shot or so. Not a big deal, I just rub the first three inches of my arrow. Give it a try.

RE: 3-d target and carbons
I went to a 3-D shoot for the first time last Sunday and I ran into the same problem. I tried using a little of my bowstring wax on my arrows and it helped a great deal. You might try that also.
