He's one you might want to think about getting out of the herd. Most likely his genetics aren't too great unless he has an injury. We try to get any buck with an antler like that out of the herd whenever he presents a shot. He might turn out a be a good buck down the road but odds are he won't be a giant.

Unfortunately i would like to do that but hes not legal here in my part of PA. We have antler restrictions. But there have been some nice bucks with freaky racks there over the years'.. i can post some pics from last year

Yea that would be nice to get out of the herd but if you can't he will sure be crazy looking once he's legal!

Man,that sucks he isn't legal!

I'll agree, its a funny background but one of my spots in as Deer city USA as you can get. Probably the closest legal spot to downtown Chicago as you can find. I live in Downtown Chicago so I have a spot with 30 mins if I want to get an afternoon hunt in. Not a big chunk of land but legal and we've gotten deer the last 3 years since we started hunting it.
