The PSE Stinger G3 is set up and ready to fire for 400.00 I'll admit the accessories are not the best quality but it is a nice set up for the money. The bow is sound and very quite, easy to draw back at 65lbs.of draw weight for me. It has a few flaws which are easy to fix like the small set screws which set your draw length need some removable Loctite on them and the rubber band on the pep sight needs a better silicone type tube. There are good videos that show it's performance on youtube. There are several entry level or replacement bows with new technology on the market this is just one which I bought. Go test a few a see what fits you.Good shopping.

+1 for Craigslist or similar. Not much can be 'wrong' with a bow and typically people tend to take good care of them. You can find a 2 or 3 yr old complete setup for that price range..just know what you're looking for and have a local pro shop check it out

If you do go with a used bow, see if the warranty is transferable. I bought a used bow a few years back, limb cracked last year, no warranty and no replacement limb available. Thats when I decided to buy a new bow with a lifetime repair/replace warranty, last bow I will ever have to buy.
