Found My First Rubs Of The Season!!!!!!!
 

Today I went out early this morning and hung 3 early season stands. After getting the stands hung I decided to do a little scouting. On a low ridge I noticed a well worn trail going to a pine thicket bedding area. I followed the trail for a few yards and there it was shining in the sun the first rub of the season. A walked a little further down the trail and found another one on the same trail. Man I was pumped. Come on OCT 18th!!!!

Good for you, HankFan! Our western season opens tomorrow, but since I won' t be able to hunt it ' till October, I went out to check things out today. Good trails, and a couple of scrapes (a little early for those, maybe?). A few good buck rubs, too. Whew....it was all I could do to go back home!

Yeeeeeeeeeeee Yaaawwwwwww!!!! Bring ' em on, baby!!

Ya' ll keep ' em straigh now, ya' hear?!

Going to the woods tomarrow hope I' m as lucky as you are then again I have to work on tuesday so maybe I shouldn' t I might miss work if I find some rubs.:D
