Default anyone know about rage's new "shock collar"

I see in cabela's they sell a "shock collar" for rage so it wont open up on someone... is this for just traveling or is it made for shooting so blades wont fly open in mid flight? or is this new collar not worth it?

i think its so they wont open mid flight. when i used to shoot rage i never had problems with them opening mid flight, i just got sick of replacing the o-rings. i would test your rage out just to make sure there is no premature deploying of the blades. if they open mid flight i would just switch heads, not waste money on a shock collar.

I believe the "shock collars" are only for the Rage Extremes. The 2 inch still use the O-rings. I started using Rage 2 blades two years ago and have never had a bad thing to say. I love them. They have a new "chisel tip" that I may try this year. I am a little hesitant though. I have never had a problem with the originals and I am a believer in "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
