Elk Tag
 

Hey everyone, just got my elk tag for the Colorado Resident Archery either sex elk tag, season starts Aug. 23. until Sept. 24. can't wait. this will be my first elk trip. the wife will be going with me, and this will be her first any kind of hunt trip. (I'll get the city out of her, sooner or later.) I'm thinking of unit 28 in the jenny Williams wma. anyone ever hunt there. we will be doing a prescout trip here soon. from what i read on the sun/ moon chart Sept. 15 will be the best day. :happy0001:

This is something I am gonna do one day always wanted to kill an elk with my bow sorry I can't give u any advice but GOOD LUCK to ya

Thanks for the good luck, I'll need it. i have been hunting for whitetail in Florida, but not out here. I will post pics of the hunt though.:happy0001:
