At day break yesterday first thing I saw was my Dear. Today at day break first thing I saw was my Deer. :) Too bad it was a 6 pointer at 10 yds. Your first deer where I hunt has to be antlerless. Oh well hope he comes around after I get my Doe. Hope everyone else enjoyed their day as much as I did. Sure feels good to be huntin again.:)

I go through it during crop damage but know the rules and don' t think about it much. HOWEVER, if it was hunting season and I had to pass a buck like that I think I' d be down for sure or maybe find a new state to hunt in.:D

Yea that happened to me 3 years ago. Bucks all around (3) when I had to shoot a doe so the next day I went somewhere where I could shoot a buck first and only saw does. :(. Think of this way, any time in the woods is good time. Should be a super nice evening, go out and get yourself one. Good luck.
