What color fletching does everyone use?
 

I am wondering about this. I have been looking for the perfect color combination to use on my hunting arrows. I am just wondering what some of you hunters use?

Hey,

Matt/PA took mine......2 white and 1 yellow.

I firmly believe in using bright fletch with high contrast to a deers body, etc so that you see the arrow in flight, in the body or contrast to the deers body so that you can see the arrow hit...etc....

Two Orange and one yellow..I believe white is a better choise, but if other hunters are in the area. watch out. Its too bad we have to wounder if our fellow hunters would think your white vanes was a WhiteTail in the brush and took a " Pop" shot at the white.

Most often a combination of Blue and White feathers. The blue really stands out on the forest floor. One dozen will be 2 white and blue.... the next 2 blue and a white so I can keep them separate for my own satisfaction.

Either all white or two white and one flo. orange. The white really help after the shot in determining exactly where you hit the animal. Assuming the arrow passes through.

Early season 2 blue 1 white, wnite nock, Late season 2 green 1 white, fl green
nock.

I use white crested arrows withe 2 bright yellow, 1 white vanes.............white knocks. Very visable

4 " feathers. 2 are chartreuse barred and the other is solid chartreuse.

2 bright orange and 1 chartruese (not sure on spelling). i had my arrows reflecthed after reading the sticked thread above on game recovery. (plus i didnt like the feathers on it so i got vanes.)
