You should be able to find a complete beginners bow(compound) with arrows and sight and rest for about $250-400. Alot depends on where you live. If you have a large archery shop close by they should be able to set you up with a good used bow for a reasonable price. If you do find one post the price here and we will let you know if they`re trying to hose you.;)

if you are looking for a new youth bow, I would skipp the hoyts mathew etc and get a champion great price and they are the most underated bow going also if your local proshop doesn' t have them in stock they arrive within a week

also buy a good use bow because at 12 you will out grow it fast!
