2012 Early Bow Season
 

I'm sure I'm not the only guy who is having vissions and dreams of all that attends an upcoming Bow season. With another successful Turkey season in the books,I like all of you turn my thoughts to Mr. and Mrs. Whitetail and our next season for stick and string. A lot of questions are pouring through my pourous mind about what this season will be like. We had a very mild winter so the Deer herds should come into spring and summer in good shape,I hope. The fields in my part of Indiana are showing good progress for the corn crop and beans as well. A heavy frost may have hurt the apples and acorns in some of my areas but not all,so I remain encouraged buy what I see so far. Last year I saw more Bucks in Rut activity than ever before and it brought some helpful knowledge to this newby hunter who would like to take his first really mature Buck. Well I'll shut up for now but I'm sure looking forward to viewing my trail cameras this Friday and hopefully see and old friend who avoided the bed of my pick up last year. He should be a dandy 8 if he made it through the season. I think he is a 3 year old which I know is not a truly mature age but he looked good last year and I hope has put on some mass by the season this year.
