Destroyer 350 derailed again

2nd time this bow has done it to me :/ i was at full draw hit my release and bang arrow shattered and the string and cable was everywhere, time for a new bow i think tryed a bunch leaning towards the new bowtech insanity cpx its got deeper groves on the cams i guess so they havent had any problems with it derailing what is anyone think on the insanity and the destroyers problem?

If my mathews did that i would probably not be buying another mathews bow.

i know but its the only time and only bowtech ive ever had a problem with and with their warrenty and the way they take care of military i havent found another brand that does what they do for vets.

I have a Insanity and have had a Destroyer, the grooves are deeper for that very reason and Bowtech adressed that with the Insanity. To me the Insanity is all that the destroyer wasn't. It has a smooth draw and stores a load of energy. A much better grip and feel to me also. I have had several different bowtech models and I like the way they feel and perform. Not a bowtech fanboy but I shoot what I like and dont listen to pro-con debates. And I like they way they handle vets and servicemen too. You show me how many companys worldwide that place a bible quote on their shipping box right by their logo? My kind of company!! I don't think you'll go wrong if you choose the Insanity, just shoot one and make up your own mind.

I really enjoyed shooting the Insanity ( the draw was a touch to long ) I really want one. I drew it back set at 70lbs and to me it didnt feel like 70lbs, it felt more like 65lbs. I really liked the smooth draw cycle it had.
I would have gotten one if it came in my draw length... Being Short Sucks... Sometimes:s6:

Congrats on your new bow.

Did you ever try heavier arrows I know with that bow a lot of people had to step up a weight because of the amount of energy that bow produced. Were you shooting a quality arrow?
