Practice waiting for a GOOD shot! I don' t know anyone who has lost a deer to broadside double lung hit.

Yeah....sadly I lost one too last year.....bad shot choice on my part. 30 yd moving shot....didn' t try to stop him. What was I thinking??? Only a flesh wound, but I wont do that again. Hopefully my 3rd season will be the charm....

Just be sure of your shot, and give the animal plenty of time.

Chalk up the losses as a learning lesson and move on. I lost a couple of animals when I first started, and those were the best lessons that I have received because it made me move to the next level before I kept hunting. I' d hope that nobody would ever wound an animal, but it does happen. How we take it, and how we deal with it is all up to us.
