Pros and Cons of a Wisker Bisket

As my second season arrives, I am still very much in the learning phase. My question is what you all think of the wisker bisket. I have been thinking of getting one but really don' t know anything about them, nor do I know anyone that currently uses one.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Try a search on them........there have been a lot of posts lately on them. I was a skeptic at first but I love mine now !!

You might try a search in the archives. That is a topic that has been discussed more than a few times. (You beat me to it CBM)

I have set up plenty of them for other people but I don' t personally use one.

My opinion is that its a fine rest as long as you don' t mind a slight loss in arrow speed and you realize that you will have to refletch more often. Its a simple design that is durable and easy to adjust...

Good Luck

GREAT REST!There is no way the arrow can come off the rest when the buck fever sets in.

BOWDACIOUS, you know they have a spray to prevent water from freezing the WB up, so that can' t be an excuse to not be out in the bad weather with one.:D

I put one on about a month ago, and love it. I will try other rest in the future, but the way this thing shoots, I' ll more than like stick to it for hunting.

Pros. total arrow capture, easy to tune, accurate enough.
cons. I had a lot of vane wear and feather wear. the brissells will wear out if you shoot enough arrows through it. you will loose some speed. don' t know about the colder climates..

Same experiences as the others.

Pros: Arrow cannot fall off. Very quiet, capable of delivering good accuracy at hunting ranges, easy to set up initially.

Cons: Reduces arrow speed and can really chew up feathers....and to some extent vanes if they have any helical to them.
