RE: State Records
Bow
What I am getting at is the 65% let off. I have a Nova with Vector Pro cams, 75% let off. I could have got the bow with the Vector Wheel cams with a 65% let off, but I wasn' t aware that there was a let off limit by P&Y. (I' m a newbie) While I don' t expect to ever get a P&Y record in Ark, I do think there are some state records lurking in the area I hunt. I was wondering that if I got real lucky and got one, would my V-P cams screw me.
I basically hunt for my own pleasure and I do trophy hunt, with my third tag, cause I want a nice one fer my wall. I' m not really concerned about the record books. But........[].
Thanks for your reply!

RE: State Records
3 step.......I would check with your DNR or even a reputable taxidermist around. I killed a good buck in Alabama a few years ago and it scored differently for the state records than it did for P&Y. I believe AL is using the North American Whitetail Records scoring system. Or when I entered mine .....they said it was the state records program anyway........I need to check back on that [8D] !
