Any PA hunters get your doe tag yet?
 

After forgetting that inner stamp last year I almost didn' t get my doe tag. I haven' t received this years tag so I was wonderin' if they' re out yet. Sure don' t want to miss out.....

I had 2 checks cashed,but did no recieve the tags yet.Today is over the counter day for my unlimited area. And I will be in line at 6:30 am waiting for the courthouse doors to open at 8 am for 10 more doe tags.

Nobody I know of either. Several folks, like cardeer, reported their checks being cashed but nothing in the mail yet. I wonder how the first round of bonus tags is working out this year.

None yet. The thing is, you have no way to know where your permit will come from. For example, here in 5C, your permit could be mailed from the Berks, Montco, Bucks or Lehigh courthouse. My dad already got his - it was sent from Montco, and we are in Berks. Berks waits to the absolute last possible minute to mail theirs, usually around Sept 15 - 20. The bottom line is, don' t fret if your friends get theirs and you don' t. It will come.

Checks were cashed so we got em but won' t recieve them til mid Sept, that seems to be the norm?! If your check has been cashe dthen you' re set but if not may wanna investigate!!

Check was cashed but no tags yet. I have an uncle/cousin who received their 2C tags on Friday.

I called the county treasurers office and what they told me was:
Since we' re in a management area now instead of a county the license could be processed in any county within the management unit. The licenses were divied up between the counties. Also, the tags are processed one at a time (cashing so many checks at a time) so if you' re at the bottom of the stack then you have a long wait. So, don' t panic unless Sept. 15th arrives and no tags have shown up!
As of today, Armstrong Co. hasn' t shipped any tags.
Wouldn' t it be nice if this all was computerized and we could just go to the courthouse and get the tag? They would know if you already got one or not. Then IF there are any extra you could go in first come, first serve for the additional. This jumping thru hoops by mail is a pain in the rear.
Maybe I' m just impatient...:(

I received my tag (4E) on Sat. 8/23. Really wasn' t expecting it that soon.

I have not recieved mine yet.

Get this though. I talked to a guy who was in the Johnstown Post Office. His job takes him there and he knows several of the guys working in the back. They showed him two of those big canvas bags that they throw mail in full of doe tags.

THE MANAGEMENT AREA STICKERS THAT YOU HAVE TO PUT ON THE FRONT HAD FALLEN OFF. They had no clue how to sort them.

Glad I taped mine on. Thier are going to be a lot of PISSED of people this year
