But I hear hunting in PA is great. True? |
RE: where to hunt in south-west PA?
Harrisburg is in the south-east part of the state.
If you are looking in the south-west part of the state, well, you have my county, Indiana County, which is one of the best places in the state. Anywhere around major cities is good. You can find little patches of property on the out-skirts of cities and these are the places producing the most big bucks. |

if you waant south west you can' t get anymore south west than green or fayette county (i live in fayette) i saw a truly giant buck the other day while out on the quad , it' s the first big rack i' ve seen since i moved here 5 years ago , but there are some nice bucks, i don' t know about the harrisburg area , maybe take a ride to lancaster archery and see if you can get any info there. i hare bucks county is pretty good but that would be east of you. good luck and welcome to pennsylvania:D:D
