DNA Tests Could Trap Poachers
Groundbreaking DNA Tests Could Trap Poachers
We all know how hard it is for law enforcement to identify poachers with the crimes sometimes happening in remote areas, little physical evidence, and little human DNA left behind. The University of Strathclyde have found a method to pick up these low levels of DNA to identify the poachers. This could be a new way for law enforcement to protect our wildlife. |
Yeah, DNA is certainly another tool to nail the scumbags... There have been several cases in my home state where DNA has been a factor and lead to arrests...

There is an interesting story about a poacher and how he got busted with DNA soil. Google: "Soils, Seeds and super bucks By Brad Herndon"

who's going to pay for it? Fine if someone is sneaking into private reserves and taking exotic items. Otherwise it sounds like empowering the cia to go after a guy who shot a deer out of season. Might as well send in some heat seeking missiles to take the "scum bags" out.
Any Idea what this kind of evidence in the hands of a corrupted government can mean? Before you ask for every molecule to be entered into a dna data base I suggest people spend a few years reading world history. You people are so quick to celebrate the lose of your personal freedom if it means getting back at someone. |
So I guess if I happen to be walking on public land where 100 others have walked in the past year... and I happen to pee on the ground.... bam... I'm guilty of all crimes that may have been committed in the area. I'm sorry, but I don't see this Scotish schools findings very enforceable or logical on our side of the ocean.

Gee, I wonder if the government
will now find all illegal immigrants?
