Your gut instinct in these situations is normally right. During a real rough winter, something like that wouldn't totally surprise me. But this was the easiest winter in 20 years by me and my gut is telling me to pick up the phone. We've had a our Yotes, a wolf or two, and a deer carcass (normally one at a time) here and there but my Spidey sense was ringing like crazy after reading this.
