What and how many deer can you legally tag this year in you state?

Ohio you can legally tag 6 deer.

2 in my county/District and 4 special urban permits (good only in designated urban deer units). Only 1 may be anterled.:D

In Indiana you are allowed:

Archery-2 antlerless or 1 antlered and 1 antlerless

Firearm-1 antlered

Muzzleloader- 1 deer either sex

And in my county you are allowed 4 bonus antlerless deer,
but you are only allowed to take one antlered deer thru entire season


So thats 8 total for me (but I wont take that many, Ill hope for at least 1):eek:

here in tennessee there is some counties including the one i live in and i believe rockytops county to. we can kill 3 does a day. i have a place that a farmer wont' s me to kill some does. but i am not in to killing 10 deer a season. but the does are getting over populated around here. they need killing .

As many as you want here in PA , all u need is to spend 6 bucks and buy extra doe tags.

' 216' ...Two per day from Oct 15 to Jan 31. One buck and one doe per day. Of course no one ever actually kills that many but it is theoretically possible.

In Illinois, 2 bucks total regardless of weapons or seasons hunted. As many does as you want with bow per paid permit.

For me 3 is the most I will take unless a landowner wants an extra doe harvested and the population/buck to doe ratio warrants it. I try to take one mature doe early for the freezer to be sure I get some meat, and then big buck hunt. Of course in that case one doe is all I might get!

In good old Maryland you can take about 20 bucks and unlimited doe. You dont even need doe tags you can just shoot em and check em in free of charge. There are plenty of deer to be killed in our state and they give you every opportunity to do so. With all that said I usually only take 4 or 5 per season, that fills up the freezer pretty good until the following year.

Well, I can use my main bow tag for either sex deer, then I can apply (and usually get) up to two permits to shoot two additional does, then I can get my landowner permit to take another additional doe. If I use my main bowhunter tag, I can get another for shotgun season (if I elect to go).
