Release Straps and scent control

I have a question for you guys. What do you do about the strap on your release when it absorbs sweat from your wrist and hand during practice. Can you just wash it with the rest of your camo? Taking the release off of course.

I wash mine with my camo and store it with my Scent-lok in season
