what is wrong with this deer?

I have a bunch of videos of this buck back before the rut started. then he disappeared for like 6 weeks. now hes back but with this mass on his neck. does anyone know what it could be? would you think the meat would still be good if i chose to shoot this deer?

looks like a bad shot..notice what appears to be a small entry wound on the top right of his back in this picture? he is hurting.

thats just a shadow i dont see that in any of the videos. hes acting normal it doesnt seem to be bothering him. really just wondering if the meat would be any good

looks like a hole..a quartering away shot from a tree stand that was too high..bet ya find a piece of an arrow in there..or a small cal bullet. $1

Some sort of tumor or growth under the skin. Have seen a ton of pictures of similar instances.

Terrible resolution.

Looks like the tree trunk behind him, to me.

Yeah...that's ugly.

I've seen photos of a doe with one about 3X that big. Photos of her a few weeks later, showed it had dissipated to almost nothing.

I'm thinking it's some sort of cyst.
