What to eat before hunting ??
 

I was wondering if there any types of foods you can eat before you hunt that won' t give off so much scent. Example: If I know I' m going hunting at 3 p.m. what should I eat at lunch? Garlic cheese bread probably isn' t the answer! But do you guys have any reccomendations? I heard once you should eat an apple 30 minutes before you go out. Any truth??

Peanut butter sandwiches! MN DNR did a study and found deer are more attracted to peanut butter than ANY other scent!!!

Don' t eat anything that will give you gas, or make you come down out of your stand to answer natures call.:D

Since I don' t take the time to make and eat breakfast on morning hunts, I usually just fill up a spill proof mug with milk, some protein powder, a tablespoon (or two) of instant coffee and some sweetener. Spoon it all together and I have a nutritious drink to sip on the drive to my hunting spot. Takes only a minute or two to make and tastes great.

Baked beans and boiled eggs the night before and breakfast the day of...If you squeeze just right you got a handy little buck grunt and a fresh doe pee scent!:D:D[X(]

Apples and Peanut butter and Jelly for me too. I actually had a button buck eat a quarter of a sandwich I accidently dropped from my stand. Mustve been the blackberry jelly.[:-][:-]:)

PB & Js with cookies . I like to carb load so that I' ll stay warmer on stand .

You guys aren' t filling your pockets with PB sandwiches and apples and " accidentally" dropping some on the way to the stand are you? ;)
