For those who don't like mech don't use them and for those who do, care for them just like u would any other mech item car, bow, etc. Clean blades and new rubbers each season and u will be successful. I do know that any limb weed etc will drastically change the direction which might be a good thing. As for the single blade let's try and report what we find out.

i used mechs b4..had em open up on draw...i do like as mentioned.."never saw a thread about a fixed blade failing"
