if he just slowly walked away, and was feeding 50 yards away from you, why didnt you try and get him back in? if he was walking away from you, and he was only 8-9 yards away, you would have more than enough time to nock another arrow and grunt to get him to stop.

dude!!!! you should shoot yer bow every time before going out...on top of that, my bow was on time, and i missed a straight down shot on a hog....now i practice those shots to as well as far away.hang in there, if ya quit, you'll never get him.
