mathews, mcpherson, highcountry all one guy?
 

ive been reading alot about matt mcpherson. and what ive come up with is that he made the cams for mathews, he started mcpherson archery and he is also the head of high country. this all seem very scrambled to me. is this true? if it is he must be one heck of a talented person.

Well you are right on a number of accounts. No doubt he is talented, and he is president of Mathews inc.. But it is his brother Ed who just recently became President of High Country Archery.

Yes and No. He is not the head of High Country but I think I remember hearing that his Ed is now. I think Matt either worked for or was president of High Country at one point before he started Mathews back in '92. (Anybody remember?)

I hunt with Colin Booth and John Dudley, and from what they say, Matt started making bows in his garage, and also made acoustic guitars called McPherson. Ed is the president of High Country, but I believe from what I have been told that after Matthews got big that Matt stepped down and let Ed take High Country.
