Anyone use the Down Safe Emergency Descender ?
 

OK....I've searched....and couldn't find any comments.

Any one use this ? ..... it looks like a better price than some of the similar systems.

I'm in the market for a desent system......but I'm not interested if this is junk. :rock:

Gonna buy one this weekend, Sportsman's Guide has couple diff't ones in stock. Stopping at Gander Mtn in Columbus b4 driving to camper in s.e. Ohio.....Haven't heard anything either, just think its gotta be much better to be lowered to the ground than getting stuck hanging up way high!

The DownSafe Descender is designed for a single use. However, after a fall, the unit can be returned to us, and for a fee of $24.95 plus shipping, we will refurbish, re-pack, and return it, so that you can use it again without having to buy another new unit.

I'll probably buy one for the peace of mind.....hopefully it lives up to expectations.....:biggrin:
