Default 21 inch spread

got it done on public land again this year. shot this buck at 7:45 this morning. i had just got done sending a buddy a text and looked over my shoulder and here he comes. he was on a mission walking fast with his mouth wide open. made a nice quartering away shot at thirty yards. he ran a good 300 yrds with barely any blood. it was a slow steady rain so that may have had something to do with it. i was getting worried for awhile because we had lost blood so we just started grid searching and finally found him. took the week off for the rut feels good to get a nice one on the ground first day. still have one tag to go so hopefully ill fill it.

Congrats! It honestly looks like the little brother of the buck i got this weekend!!! a nice wide 10 point, with relatively short tines and a big tip to tip spread!

I think you'd get a kick out of how similar they are!

Good job, that is a wall hanger for sure. Nothing like taking off and bringing a good one home to make it a great vacation. I'm off 3 days next week after our gun season opens Saturday morning and hope to have success as well on the first day, just maybe.
