Thanks but its over a year old it was 124 pounds ive seen enough yearlings to know its just hard to see in the pic.

I can't believe it was a fawn if it weighed 124 (field dressed weight). Even a very early drop wouldn't weigh that much dressed. The pic is deceiving, and a pierced ear to boot. Strange.

I don't see how it's possible for that deer to weigh 124 lbs. What are the dimensions on your stand platform? Judging from the bed of your truck, it looks like a 55-60 lb fawn. Early dropped fawns could be that large, or larger, and it looks like a fawn to me...of course I ain't touching it so it's hard to be certain. Either way, oughta be mighty tasty!

Here in Nebraska it's a fawn for sure. Id be surprised if once you weigh your butchered meat if you have more than 30 lbs.
